C’est le 5 octobre dernier qu’avait lieu la Montée d’Orford, une compétition sportive dont le but était d’escalader le Mont Orford par la route familiale le plus rapidement possible. Or, le champion y est arrivé en 20 minutes. L’équipe de Perreault & Associés a profité de cet évènement pour réunir une partie de sa grande famille et également escalader le Mont Orford, mais de façon non compétitive, tout doucement en prenant le temps d’admirer le paysage qui, soit dit en passant, était magnifique.
J’ai voulu organiser cette activité pour plusieurs raisons. Tout d’abord, c’était une façon de souligner les 10 années d’existence de l’entreprise et donner le coup d’envoi aux célébrations à venir qui souligneront ce bel anniversaire. Aussi, à titre de «trail runner» moi-même, je voulais partager mon terrain de jeux qu’est la montagne avec mon équipe. Je souhaitais que tous les membres de l’équipe puissent voir les coureurs escalader cette «méchante» côte. C’était ma façon de partager cette passion mais aussi de permettre aux jeunes présents de constater que les «mononcles» sont aussi capables de réalisations sportives et que, même essoufflés, il ne faut jamais lâcher! Dans la vie, lorsque c’est difficile, il faut demeurer concentré sur notre objectif… Et l’objectif dans ce cas, c’était le sommet.
Je voulais surtout faire une activité dite santé! Mon objectif était de permettre à chacun et chacune de ressentir cette fierté d’atteindre le sommet. Je crois avoir réussi (bien que quelques-uns se gardaient de le mentionner!). D’autres membres de l’équipe en redemandaient. Et les enfants criaient haut et fort : «C’est tellement facile !». Tant mieux.
Mettre en place des activités de santé globale dans une organisation n’est pas sorcier. Outre les horaires flexibles et le télétravail, d’autres activités peuvent être organisées, si minimes soient-elles. Ce qu’on ressent en effectuant des activités sportives, on le ressent aussi lorsqu’on fait bien notre travail. Il faut juste le faire, c’est tout. Il faut aussi ne pas trop se créer d’attentes. Ce n’était pas la joie lorsque j’ai proposé cette activité, je dois le dire. On a tous autre chose à faire le samedi matin, n’est-ce pas? Mais l’important, c’était de le faire. Et nous l’avons fait.
Oui, je sais que je me répète. Et puis? Et vous? Que faites-vous?
