Au cours des dernières semaines, la Loi favorisant le développement et la reconnaissance de la main d’oeuvre a fait coulé bien de l’encre. Nous rappelons que cette loi a pour objectif d’obliger les employeurs qui atteignent 1 million en masse salariale à investir la valeur de 1 % de cette masse salariale en formation pour leur personnel, faute de quoi ils doivent cotiser la valeur non investie dans des fonds communs.
Présentement, ces fonds comptabiliseraient plus de 60 millions de dollars disponibles à financer la formation des travailleurs. Le gouvernement étudierait présentement de quelles façons les travailleurs pourraient en bénéficier davantage.
De plus, soyez avisés que, contrairement aux rumeurs entendues, le ministre de l’Emploi, monsieur François Blais, a annoncé au début du mois que cette Loi ne sera pas abolie.
